Supplemental Academic Classes
Throughout the academic year, we offer various activity days and group classes taught by Education Coordinators and other experienced teachers. The events are often well-attended, so we meet at James Kenney Community Center (1720 Eighth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710). For more information about classes and activities, please contact us.
Classes are generally geared to specific age groups. Parents are not required to stay, though we do have a wonderful group of parent volunteers who enable us to provide a rich experience for our students. Our classes have included:
Field Trips and Activity Days
Family Activity Days: These activity days include hands-on activities for the whole family. Parents stay and help their children to choose the activities that are most appropriate for them. Themes/activities have included:

Parent Organization
Many of our parents organize classes, field trips, and other gatherings of their own. Our enrolled families have a google group open to all enrolled families to ask questions, post event invitations and share resources.
